The Contact Sheet is the Komodo anniversary journal of the Gandiva booking team: short, dated entries on arriving, the light at each stop, the cabins and the questions couples ask. A piece goes up only when it has something exact to give.
What The Contact Sheet will hold
A contact sheet is the page a photographer prints to choose from: dozens of small frames, one decision. This journal borrows the idea. Each entry is a single frame, with one fact, one date and a next step.
The subjects are the ones to settle before a booking. How to reach Labuan Bajo. Which month brings which light. What the Arjuna cabin looks like at dawn. What the park asks of a visitor and what it leaves alone. Our booking team writes the entries and tests each against the facts printed on this site, and where a fact moves the entry moves with it and says so.
The first sheet covers the arrival, with a shot list for the day before boarding.

Entries are listed newest first, each with its date. One about a season is tested against that month. One about a rule is tested against the rule, and the day of the test is printed beside it.
Each entry reads in a few minutes on a phone, and it can be forwarded to a partner or a parent as it stands, even when the trip it describes is a year away. Have a question that deserves a page of its own? Send it to us. Quick answers belong in the FAQ, and the longer ones become a sheet. Nothing here is advertising dressed as advice: an entry that only praises the boat has no fact behind it, and we do not print it. An entry that names a check, an item to pack or a question to put to us, with its reason, is the kind we are glad to sign.
