A Labuan Bajo honeymoon on the phinisi Gandiva takes three days and two nights: Kalong at dusk, Padar at first light and a cabin that is only yours. Two seats in Arjuna cost 2 x IDR 11,500,000 (≈ USD 706); a short private route starts at IDR 80,000,000 (≈ USD 4,908) for the whole boat.
We confirm the pickup time in writing, a harbour transfer takes you to the boat, and the first thing you are handed is a cabin key, not an itinerary. After the safety talk comes lunch at the table on deck.
The first afternoon is deliberately easy. Kelor has a short, steep climb to a view over the bay, and you can swim instead of climbing. Manjarite follows, a reef you snorkel from the tender. Then comes Kalong at dusk, where the roost of flying foxes empties soon after the sun goes. Sunset falls at 18:01 in November, and every other month is in the sunset table on the Kalong page.
Dinner is on board, at the deck table. Where she anchors for the night is down to the weather and the captain. Land in Labuan Bajo a day early, and a delayed flight cannot cost you the first sailing. Two cabins work for a honeymoon, for quite different reasons. Arjuna is on the upper deck with sea-view windows, a double bed, a balcony of its own and a freestanding bathtub under the glass. It is the only cabin on Gandiva with the balcony and the tub, and on the open trip it sells first. Two seats cost 2 x IDR 11,500,000 (≈ USD 706).
Bima is a lower-deck double, ensuite and air-conditioned, and it costs 2 x IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552). It has no sea view, so it stays dark long after the alarm, which after an early Padar climb is no bad thing. You do give up the window, the balcony and the tub.
Nakula and Sadewa sit between the two: upper-deck sea-view doubles without the balcony or the tub, at 2 x IDR 10,000,000 (≈ USD 613) each. Every cabin has a chiller, and a safe box for anything you'd rather not leave on the bed.

Check availability · Yudhistira CabinSet the alarm for the second morning. You leave with a head torch about an hour before sunrise. Reaching the main viewpoint is a climb of between 25 and 45 minutes. Loose, steep stretches make good soles matter more than camera gear. From the top you see three bays with differently coloured sand.
On a private charter the party on the ridge from your boat is you. The ridge itself is shared with guests from other boats, so leave on time and the quiet is yours. The sun rises at 06:18 in July and at 05:31 in November; other months are in the table.
Light check. The sun comes up in the east, so stand where the bays open to the sky and not under the ridge top. Wear a layer you can take off by the top, carry water, and keep the phone for the descent.

We arrange decoration, a cake and a photographer on request. None comes with the fare, and none goes on the booking until you've seen a written quote and agreed. The same applies to dressing the cabin or deck, a dinner planned around your date, or a drone flight. Describe what you have in mind and our written quote follows within one working day.
Decide early about the photographer. A private charter carries no photographer and no photo documentation, so the camera is yours unless you add one. An open-trip fare carries a guide and group coverage, which is not the same as a photographer who works for you alone. The park permit for any drone is applied for ahead.
The fare pays for the ride to the pier, and the pickup time reaches you in writing at booking.

The honeymoon sum, 3D2N, starts with the open trip: two seats in Arjuna, 2 x IDR 11,500,000 (≈ USD 706). The lower-deck alternative is two seats in Bima, 2 x IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552). Each seat comes with a guide and photo and video coverage. The open trip sails on Mondays and Fridays, and the next date on sale is Friday, 6 November 2026.
Or go private, briefly. The 2D1N charter costs IDR 80,000,000 (≈ USD 4,908), which is IDR 40,000,000 (≈ USD 2,454) each for the two of you. It has one night on board and can start on any date the boat is free. The 3D2N charter costs IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), or IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) each.
Park ticket, flights, alcoholic drinks and tips each sit outside the fare. Your date is held by a 50 percent deposit. January and February 2027 are maintenance, so honeymoons booked for those months move to March or later.

Two days is a long weekend. The 2D1N route packs Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong into the first day, and Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo and Taka Makassar into the second. It is private only, with one night on board, and Padar at first light is the morning after Kalong.
Three days is what we'd choose. It adds Manta Point on the second afternoon, then Sebayur and Kanawa on the last morning, so the trip ends on a reef. It runs as an open trip or as a private charter. Mantas are never guaranteed, and the captain decides the order by current and tide.
Four days is private only, at IDR 120,000,000 (≈ USD 7,362) for one to four guests. It brings in Rinca and Gili Lawa Darat, then Siaba Besar and Mawan, and gives you a whole day with no early start. Longer charters of five to eight days sit on the same price list; ask us on WhatsApp.
We can quote cabin or deck decoration and a cake on request. Nothing is added before you have a written price and have said yes. The route and the weather decide any dinner outside the boat.
Arjuna, Nakula, Sadewa and Bima each have one double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Yudhistira has one double and two single beds and is meant for two to four guests, so it suits a family more than a couple.
