One traveller, one cabin, and an honest price for it

A cabin on Gandiva is a double room with its own bathroom. The fare is per person with two to a cabin at least, so a cabin has a price for two and no price for one. A solo traveller pays for the pair and has the room to themselves.

We do not put a stranger in your cabin. That is a promise about your bed, and it holds for the whole sailing. Nor do we discount the pair for one traveller, because the minimum is two and the fare is built on it.

What the extra seat buys is the room: a double bed to yourself, a bathroom nobody else uses, and a door. For some travellers that is the point, and for others it is the reason to look at a different boat.

Here are the sums, 3D2N, per cabin. The lowest is Bima: 2 x IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552). A sea-view double on the upper deck is Nakula or Sadewa: 2 x IDR 10,000,000 (≈ USD 613). The room with the balcony and the tub is Arjuna: 2 x IDR 11,500,000 (≈ USD 706).

Park tickets, flights, hotels, alcoholic drinks and tips are not in the fare. A card link adds 3 percent. Hold the cabin with a 50 percent deposit; the remainder falls due 30 days ahead.

A private charter for one traveller costs IDR 80,000,000 (≈ USD 4,908) at its shortest, because the boat is priced by the band. It only makes sense for a reason other than price. January and February 2027 are maintenance, so the cabins are on sale from 1 March.

Tell someone at home three things: the boat is Gandiva, you sail from Labuan Bajo and return there, and your booking is with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia. Send them our WhatsApp contact and the written confirmation we give you.

Wi-Fi on board is local. We state no speed and no signal at sea, so tell your family you may be offline and agree a time to check in once you are back in Labuan Bajo.

A week before sailing we ask for your passport or ID details. Keep the booking message, the boat name and the harbour name where you can read them without a signal. Should your date fall on a day Gandiva cannot sail, you can pick a replacement vessel at least as good as her, or have every rupiah back within 2 days (2×24 hours) once the conditions are met.
