Gandiva Phinisi

A team of up to twelve, three days on one boat, one invoice

Updated 3 November 2026

A Komodo incentive trip for a small team fits one private phinisi: Gandiva takes 12 guests in 5 cabins. Ten colleagues on the 3D2N charter pay IDR 110,000,000 (≈ USD 6,748) in all, which is IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) each, on one invoice written before you pay.

A company on one phinisi, with twelve places at the table

The deck table seats the whole company. It is a dining table with sofa benches under a shade roof, and twelve is the number of places on the boat, so nobody eats at a second table. The 3D2N route gives the team three days. The first has Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong; the second runs from Padar through to Manta Point; the third closes at Sebayur and Kanawa. The three-day itinerary page lists every stop in order.

A company trip changes the route in three ways. First, the Padar sunrise becomes optional; a team has people of every fitness, and the ones who skip it have the deck and the coffee. Second, day two is the long one, so keep the working session for day three or for the first afternoon. Third, flights home go after 14:00 on the last day.

The snorkel stops mix people who never sit together at work. The sunset at Kalong, with the bats leaving about fifteen minutes after the sun, gives day one a quiet end. We cannot promise the sky; we can promise the plan.

Five cabins and a seating plan for colleagues

Five cabins make five rooms for ten or twelve colleagues. Arjuna, Nakula and Sadewa are upper-deck doubles with sea-view windows. Bima is a lower-deck double. Yudhistira, also lower deck, has one double bed and two single beds and takes two to four.

Colleagues pair up in the four doubles. Yudhistira takes two to four, which makes ten guests with two in it and twelve with four. Every cabin is ensuite and air-conditioned, with a chiller and a safe box, so a pair shares a room but never a bathroom with the rest.

A cabin sells to two, so a director who wants a room alone pays the price of the pair on the open trip. On a private charter the price is for the boat, and the seating plan is yours to draw. Arjuna, with the balcony and the bathtub, is a good prize for a draw or for the person whose milestone it is.

A working morning on the deck table

A working morning means the deck table and nothing else. After breakfast and before the first landing, the table is free, and a team can use it for an hour or two with coffee, tea and water on it. The sailing time between stops also leaves room.

The boat has no meeting room and no projector; the one screen is the lounge's 65-inch television. Wi-Fi on board is local, and we state no speed. Bring printed pages and a plan that survives without a signal. If you want a session on the dining deck or ashore, ask us; the quote reaches you before the line joins your booking.

Plan the session around the boat, not against it. Wind and tide decide the sequence of stops, so fix the working morning for the day with the fewest early starts.

Invoice lines for the person in accounts

The person in accounts needs lines, and we write them. The invoice shows the charter fare for your band, the park ticket as its own line per guest, each extra as its own quoted line and the payment fee when a card link or PayPal is used. VAT at 11 percent is inside the fare.

A 50 percent deposit holds the date. Settle the balance 30 days ahead of sailing, or in cash or at the card terminal on departure day. Card links carry a 3 percent fee, PayPal 7.2 percent, and the terminal in Labuan Bajo 3 percent. Wise, Revolut, QRIS and bank transfer in IDR work too.

Bookings are made with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363. Tell us the company name and the details you need printed, and we confirm in writing what the invoice can carry. A cancellation is refunded at 50 percent when you give 60 days or more, and at 25 percent from 30 to 59 days. A date change costs nothing 30 days ahead. If Gandiva cannot sail on your date, you choose: a replacement vessel at least as good as her, or all of your payment back within 2 days (2×24 hours) once the conditions are met.

A sum for ten colleagues

Ten colleagues, five cabins, the 3D2N private charter. Ten guests fall in the band of nine to twelve, so the boat costs IDR 110,000,000 (≈ USD 6,748) and each head carries IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675). Twelve colleagues pay the same total, and the head figure falls to IDR 9,170,000 (≈ USD 563).

A 2D1N charter for the same band costs IDR 90,000,000 (≈ USD 5,521), with one night on board. A 4D3N charter costs IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589) and gives a whole extra day with no early start.

No guide and no photo coverage come with a private fare, so a company that wants either for the team picture asks us for a quote. The park ticket is a separate line. January and February 2027 are maintenance, and the dates between are yours.

Evenings: the lounge screen, the bar, dinner on request

Evenings are the reason teams come back from a boat as a team. The lounge has a bar, sofas, a 65-inch screen and karaoke, and the screen and the karaoke run only when the guests on board ask for them. Alcoholic drinks are not in the fare; ask us before you bring any on board.

A dinner outside the boat is a service. A dinner on an island beach, a seafood dinner, a team outing for a senior group, a working session: each is on request, quoted in writing before it is added, and settled with the captain by route and weather. We promise nothing that is not on paper.

Dinner on board, at the deck table, is in the fare. So are three meals a day, coffee, tea, water, snacks and fruit.

Harbour transfer included

The fare pays for the ride to the pier, and the pickup time reaches you in writing at booking.

When a party outgrows the standard vehicle, a Toyota HiAce van for up to twelve or a larger coach replaces it, and we quote the change before it is added.

FAQ

Can the team hold a workshop on board?

A working session at the deck table is possible and quoted on request. The boat has no meeting room and no projector. Wi-Fi on board is local, and no speed is given. Bring printed material.

Can we get one invoice in the company's name?

Tell us the company name and the details you need, and we confirm in writing what the invoice can carry. The park ticket and each extra are separate lines. Bookings are made with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363.

What if two colleagues drop out before we sail?

Tell us at once. A fall from ten guests to eight moves the booking to the five-to-eight band, IDR 105,000,000 (≈ USD 6,442). Rescheduling is free 30 days ahead, and the cancellation table in the terms applies after that.
